WHO: THE RETURN OFFENDER SUPPORT COALITION.
WHAT: First Annual Community Fun Day.
The Returning Offenders Support Coalition (ROSC) was founded in an effort to reduce recidivism rates by providing necessary support to formerly incarcerated individuals and their families. Our vision is a community where formerly incarcerated individuals and their families have the support, knowledge, and prevention skills needed to succeed in today’s society.
WHEN: 1:00pm-4:00pm Saturday April 26, 2008.
WHERE: Linwood Recreation Center 1901 S. Kansas St. Wichita
Why: ROSC is recognizing families of Incarceration.
The goal is to create a system in which service providers for formerly incarcerated individuals may gain access to community resources; and a network of concerned agencies and individuals support their families.
Martha Sanchez will be our event speaker with guest speaker Kameelah Alexander, Representative Oletha Faust –Goudeau, and letter from Representative Delia Garcia
Event Highlights:
· Variety of community agencies providing information for formerly incarcerated individuals and their families.
· Piñatas.
· Mariachis and Spanish Dancers.
· Food, Fun and Games for the whole family.
How You Can Help:
· Provide sponsorship for Mariachi Band -

· Provide sponsorship for games and prizes.
· Provide sponsorship for T-shirts for the workers.
· Provide sponsorship for Piñatas.
