Will Rogers was America’s most beloved humorist, reaching millions with his radio show and newspaper columns. As a cowboy and trick ropester, he starred in Wild West shows, vaudeville, and movies. Meet Rogers as he offers his commentary on the social and political issues of the day with the gentle humor Americans adored. This program is presented by re-enactor Doug Watson and sponsored by the Kansas Humanities Council. Offered in cooperation with nine other cultural institutions in Wichita, Senior Wednesdays are designed for active seniors and made possible by the Kansas Health Foundation, a private philanthropic organization dedicated to improving the health of all Kansans.
