The changes in Wichita from the ‘50s to the present aren’t just noticeable on the land, but also in the water! Environmental Water Quality Specialist Vaughn Weaver explains the general history of the water quality and the effects of pollution on the local fish community in the Arkansas River. These changes are associated to changes in our society and understanding of environmental impacts through technological improvements. (1 hour)
